Fundraising Ball 7 May 2011 at The Leeds Hilton Hotel
Our first Charity Fundraising Ball raised in excess of £5,000 for our chosen charities; Pink Lily Breast Cancer Care, Haven Breast Cancer and Black Health Initiative (BHI). The event was attended by 250 people for diverse communities. Beyond Cancer was humbled by the level of responses and support received from local businesses and individuals who donated their time and raffle prizes, regardless of the pressures of the current financial climate.

Lea Parris Cambridge, founder of Pink Lily was Guest Speaker at the event. She spoke about the mission and objectives of Pink Lily, highlighting the plights of those with a cancer diagnosis in St Kitts and Nevis.
